Issue 002 of Printworks is well under way and we know you London ravers are loving the return of the unique east London club.
To celebrate our partnership with LWE and Printworks, this evening we’re putting on our very own ‘Relentless Presents’ event. We’ll be doing what we do best - bringing you the crème de la crème of the electronic music scene.
We know ‘Relentless Presents’ is going to be a banger – with the venue totally sold out, it’s going to be a jam packed day and night that won’t be forgotten any time soon. For this reason we wanted to share the glory with all of you, so we’ve teamed up once again with DJ Mag to live stream the whole thing.
That’s right, even if you aren’t able to make it down to Surrey Quays, you can still enjoy all that the Relentless and Printworks experience has to offer from the comfort of your own home. As well as performances, viewers will even be treated to some extra backstage treats.
Klose One 12pm – 2pm
Starting us off is Klose One, performing in the Press Halls from 12pm – 2pm. Resident Advisor refers to Klose One as “The DJ's favourite DJ” as he is favoured for his technical ability and wide ranging spectrum of undiscovered talent.
Shadow Child 2.30pm – 4.30pm
Next up at the Press Halls is Shadow Child. Previously known as Dave Spoon, the DJ is well established on the scene as both a radio broadcaster and live performer. Operating under the Shadow Child alias since 2012, the UK spinner is bound to pull a crowd.
Claptone 4.30pm – 6.30pm
Mixmag describe Claptone’s sound as “crisply produced and effortlessly infectious” – and that’s what you can expect to hear from the German born, bird mask touting producer and DJ. He’ll be spinning techno and house in the Press Halls.
Hannah Wants 6.30pm – 8pm
Hannah Wants fills the penultimate slot in the Press Halls. Since being crowned Best Breakthrough DJ by DJ Mag back in 2014, Wants’ career has gone from strength to strength. Known for her epic mixtapes, she has a loyal fanbase who undoubtedly will be out for yet another energy filled set.
Gorgon City 8pm – 10pm
Finishing off the whole night is out headliner, Gorgon City. Sitting alongside the likes of Rudimental on Sony’s Black Butter label, the duo has toured their infectious sound across the world. Having established themselves as solo artists (Fomao and Rack’n’Ruin), joining forces in 2012 was always going to be explosive, but five years later the pair are still going strong and are a perfect way to bring Relentless Presents to a close…
