HomeRelentless Suzuki hits the road

Is there anything more hardcore than motorbike road racing - the Isle Of Man TT, the NW200? Probably not.... Well we at Relentless, in recognition of this fact are stoked to announce new partners for the 2007 racing season in the respected and talented Irish road racing outfit TAS Racing. The team will be known as 'Relentless Suzuki' (in keeping with our MX outfits) by TAS Racing, which will take in both the British Supersport Championship and the International Road Racing arenas with riders Michael Laverty, Ian Lowry, Adrian Archibald and Bruce Anstey. Bring it on... or more officially put as part of our posh Press Release....
"In the TAS Racing outfit, and alongside our good friends at Suzuki, we believe we have found two partners for Relentless that embody the raw attitude and artistry that our brand stands for. With TAS Racing's established reputation as a hardcore road racing outfit, their serious ambitions in British Supersport and beyond; allied to Suzuki's stature and reputation in the motorsport arena, we believe we have found the perfect ambassadors for our No Half Measures message. The thought of seeing this new Relentless Suzuki Team on the track, on the road, and particularly at the Isle of Man TT in its Centenary year decked out in a Relentless inspired livery leaves all of us at the Relentless Shed hugely excited and very proud to be a part of it all. We wish them the very best in 2007 and look forward to cheering them on as the season unfolds.”
Philip Neill, Team Principal at TAS had the following thoughts to share...
“First off, I would like to welcome the Relentless team on board. It really is a dream come true for TAS Suzuki Racing to attract the attention of such a professional company as Relentless. The really cool thing is that the attitude and desires of Relentless completely mirror those of TAS Suzuki Racing. Such a compatible relationship is not often achieved in Motorsport, even after years spent searching. Our plans are to achieve success in this year’s international road racing events and also in the British Supersport Championship. We are then intent on progressing into the British Superbike Championship for 2008 and the support from Relentless, I believe, is the key to turning that dream into a reality. Building a strong relationship is, I believe, the key to our future success – therefore our aim is to assist each other in reaching our short-term goals in order to ensure a long-term relationship. The 2007 stock of TAS riders are completely blown away by the new look our team will adorn this season. In my mind it is important to be different, so let’s just say that you are unlikely to miss the Relentless Suzuki by TAS Racing around the British and Irish race paddocks. Just to hear the passion and excitement from the guys behind Relentless delivers increased motivation, both to myself, and the rest of our team. Everyone is very excited and looking forward to this new beginning – an opportunity we intend to grasp with both hands. Another very important aspect of this new relationship is that all our current sponsors will remain as part of the set-up in 2007. This is something that is very important to me, and was also highly important to Relentless."
... so excited we can hardly draw breath. See you on the tarmac .... BRING. IT. ON.
