Relentless 2007 British BMX Championship

 An update from our man on the ground, George Roth, on this weekend's British Championships...I finally got out of the house since I got my collar bone pinned to attend "The Relentless 2007 British Championships" which took place in awesome summer sunshine this past August bank holiday at the Burnham-on-Sea BMX track in Somerset.

It was a technical, demanding track and claimed a few riders over the weekend, a few of them breaking parts of their bodies (this time it wasn't me). Friday night and Saturday's practice went well with a lot of the riders dialling in for Sunday's all important British Championship titles. 551 riders registered for Sunday's finale and many riders knowing they had to defend their titles with the last straight settling a few of those with some impressive action to the line.

 Newquay and the Boardmasters really is the only place to be this week... if you're not already on your way then these photos should tip the scales for you.
