It usually takes a while for talented snowboarders to become sick of competitions and sanitised snowparks. But after an upbringing spent regularly snowboarding in Andorra, it’s perhaps no surprise that the intrepid Tyler Chorlton embraced the challenges and unspoilt pleasures of backcountry boarding at a relatively young age. His desire to keep things fresh and exciting has seen him shy away from the routine of competitive snowboarding and embrace the purer side of the sport. Co-owner of a snowboarding shop in his Andorran hometown of Soldeu, he’s also starred in numerous landmark films and remains a standout talent on the scene.
