Starting out

One day my dad picked me up from school, I think it was 1994. He took me to the waterski cable my uncle owned at that time. As soon as I hit the water I was addicted to water sports, from that very first moment. After a few years, I switched to wakeboarding and there was no way back. I still love it as much as I did when I started.

The road to success

It’s hard work and frustrating at times, but you should never give up. Keep your goals in mind, and reach them by enjoying the things you love to do even more. It’s hard to find the right words in English for a question like that!

Career highlight to date

Just getting to where I am right now. It’s awesome when something works out the way you envisaged. Also, getting on editude.tv, which started with my friends.

If I wasn't...

If I wasn’t a wakeboarder I’d really like to be a surfer. I’ve never tried surfing as yet, but I know I would love it!
