Starting out

I just started out riding bikes at my local trails. I always looked up to the local guys down there and wanted to be able to ride how they could.

The road to success

I think the road to success is just never to give up what you love to do. I spent every spare moment I had after school down the trails till dark every night all year round. As I grew older I wanted to see more so I travelled around to see other spots in nearby cities. As I travelled more and more I got more opportunities and made friends with more riders. Then when I was 17 I decided to fly to France to ride this AM contest to see how I could do - I ended up coming first! So I carried on travelling more and pushing myself from there.

Career highlight to date

My Career highlight to date is defiantly some of the trips I’ve been on – it’s hard to choose one! They all are a great time and there are always stories to tell after. Three that stand out above the rest are the first ever RTG trip around the UK, the Vans Let It Ride tour around France and the Relentless project we did living in Austin, Texas for 3 months.

Motto I live by

Less is more.

If I wasn't...

If I wasn't a BMX rider, I’d want to be involved with action sports. I get inspiration from all different athletes - especially Andrew Reynolds, seeing how much he puts his whole life into filming the perfect section. It’s incredible.
