Starting out

I started out surfing with my brother Kevin and my dad Chris. We used to holiday on Achill Island and that's where I first learnt how to surf.


The road to success

I always knew from the beginning that surfing was what I wanted to do and I was going to do whatever it took to allow me to do that. It has been a long hard struggle to get where I am today but I have enjoyed every bit of it and it has been the struggle that has pushed me more than anything. Meeting like-minded people has also been a major part in my progression to where I am so far. 



Career highlight to date


The first movie we made in West Oz - 'Revolution' - was the first big highlight that stands out.

If I wasn't...

If I wasn't a surfer, I'd still be doing something outside. I would probably be into a lot more hiking and maybe rock climbing. I grew up doing all that kind of stuff and it has left a mark on me. I love being out in the wild so anything along those lines will always keep me smiling.
