Ryan Gray wins the Skate Super Series 2011 Filming Competition
The winner of 2011’s Relentless Energy Drink Skate Super Series filming competition has been announced: one Ryan Gray.
The talented young hopeful filmed the session at The Works in Leeds in fine style, beating the other three contestants in the running to a £1,000 cash prize, split between himself and the park in question to help develop its facilities.
Ryan and the other film-makers (Zander Ritchie for EK Park in Scotland, James Brown for Revolution in Kent and Andy Raynor for Adrenaline Alley in Corby) were all chosen for their contribution to their local skate scene in terms of editing web clips and footage for DVDs. The winner of the contest was chosen as the video with the most views, and the episode from The Works just edged it.
Congratulations to Ryan and The Works, and keep your eyes peeled for some collaborations between Relentless Energy Drink and the winning film-maker in months to come.
