Sun, sea, streets and solo's!
Another storming set of Relentless Energy Drink Street gigs took place at The Great Escape festival in Brighton this year, blessed with fresh spring weather, and some brilliant acts.
Crowds flocked to the Donut next to historic Brighton peer after receiving their SMS’s that revealed the picturesque gig locations. They witnessed the likes of Aussie grunge pundits Violent Soho and Americans Funeral Party as well as the popular Midnight Beast in a surreal setting.
Flanked by the deep blues of the North Sea, fans were treated to some of the hottest up and coming talent from around the globe. Jubilee Square, smack in the middle of Brighton’s centre also saw Marques Toliver’s unique blend of violin pop and Ghost Poet’s candid story telling hip-hop.
The pinnacle was possibly behind Brighton train station, where Fenech Soler performed under raining confetti, and a flash mob audience. An awesome set of events that have now become an integral part of Europe’s leading festival of new music.
Make sure you sign up for the text service at next year’s event to find out where these secret gigs take place!
